http://www.rsbac.org/documentation/rsbac_handbook/Installation/choosing_the_right_package?m=subInstallation

RSBAC is a useful 'Security Framework' to control access and is installed by default with the Mandriva kernel. If included with Unity-core I'd find this very helpful for my Server branch. If possible, I'd like to test this.

I have no problem importing the rsbac-admin pkg, but the thing that I am unsure of is if we build it into the kernels or not.

No, unless it is actually part of the kernel source.  If you can point me to the kernel patches I can look into adding them to the core.

http://www.rsbac.org/  Says here that RSBAC 1.4.3 has been released for kernel 2.6.31.6. (Beta.1?)
I think Unity core is now 31.9.

So we are missing a custom kernel build, I did import the admin pkgs for when we do have the kernel. I placed them on the devel server inside incoming_rpms.

Thanks for making these packages available. I'll breeze on and (try to) build kernel to test. Something new to learn Smiley

BTW
In building a server branch I have come across some faulty packages/deps that are only related to a server. Would it be helpful if I start a thread to report problems related only to such problems to keep things tidy?

Yes, please, do it. Or use our issue tracker issues.unity-linux.org
