My feelings are similar to KDulcimer's.
One thing to take into consideration in all this is, we are all working within a governing structure which we have not used before in the development area, so it is still new and will take time to iron out the bugs. But, of course, we all pretty much new this in the back of our minds anyway at the beginning. We joked about it here and there, but we were all fully aware of the serious side as well.
The size of the dev-list is not what it seemed it would be at the start, but that's ok, we're still new and I am sure the project will attract fresh people along the way.
Thankfully, the people we have are highly skilled and a few who have worked hard to keep everyone organized and on track, and up to date with each event and progress (or lack thereof in some cases

)
All will be fine in the end. Maybe a bit slow-going at times but, this is nothing new in this field, in fact it is actually fairly common in the Linux world.

I like what we have started, and I like what is coming from it. I think many have been so busy, we have just not had much time to review the status of the governing features we put into place. Some people have since left and positions/gaps need to be filled but I don't see it as an issue which is of great danger atm.
I don't feel we face the problems within the project,as had been present in past projects as far as keeping the tech development going. We have already seen this to be true in the case where Gettinther is tied up with life issues at the moment, and ChrisZ quickly responded to the question regarding, who would be next in line to make top decisions. That, in itself has proven this governing system is already working well

And was actually a really nice feeling and gave me even more confidence in this project.
